Go kayak fishing with kayak east!
Kayaks
are very versatile boats. They can take you to spots where bigger boats
can't access as well as comfortably fish larger bodies of water side by
side with the bigger boats. Whether your preference is saltwater or
freshwater, we can take you to a spot where you are sure to enjoy a great day on
the water... and catch some fish too!
The
Raritan/Sandy Hook Bay area and its surrounding estuaries offer some of
the finest fishing on the entire east coast and it is one of our
favorite spots to fish. Striped Bass, Bluefish, Fluke and Weakfish are
the main quarry here, although good fishing also exists for other
species. Your guide, Paul Eidman, has been fishing these waters his entire life
and has a wealth of knowledge about the water
and the fish that inhabit it.
Many of the lakes,
ponds and rivers throughout New Jersey offer
excellent Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass fishing, as well as Northern
Pike, Pickerel and Trout. Dino Cerdeira, a veteran tournament fisherman, has
spent many hours fishing these waters and knows
what baits work best and how to fish them. His
knowledge will help you catch more fish and make
you a better angler as well.
(Note: when fishing in freshwater in NJ, a NJ State
fishing license is required for each participant)

Our
goal is to provide you with a great and safe fishing experience. With knowledgeable guides
trained in on-water safety techniques, you can relax and enjoy
the fishing!
Note:
the best time of the day to fish can vary from location to location and
in saltwater it may depend on the stage of the tide. Unless you have a
specific time preference, we will recommend a time when the fishing is
most likely to be best.
