Kayaks
are very versatile boats. They can take you to spots where bigger boats
can't access as well as comfortably fish larger bodies of water side by
side with the bigger boats. Whether your preference is saltwater or
freshwater, we'll fish at your choice of locations or at one of our
recommended spots!
The
Raritan/Sandy Hook Bay area and its surrounding estuaries offer some of
the finest fishing on the entire east coast and it is one of our
favorite spots to fish. Striped Bass, Bluefish, Fluke and Weakfish are
the main quarry here, although good fishing also exists for other
species. Many of the lakes and rivers throughout New Jersey offer
excellent Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass fishing, as well as Northern
Pike and Pickerel. (Note: when fishing in freshwater in NJ, a NJ State
fishing license is required for each participant)

On
the water we use Hobie Mirage sit-on-top kayaks which feature a foot
pedal drive system. These kayaks allow us to move efficiently through
the water while keeping our hands free to fish. We also have
traditional style kayaks for those who prefer them.
Our
goal is to provide you with a great and safe fishing experience. As ACA
(American Canoe Association) certified Coastal kayak instructors, we're
trained in on-water safety techniques allowing you to relax and enjoy
the fishing!
Note:
the best time of the day to fish can vary from location to location and
in saltwater it may depend on the stage of the tide. Unless you have a
specific time preference, we will recommend a time when the fishing is
most likely to be best.
